SOLWAY CAR CLUB

Since returning to her home area Barbara has taken a keen interest in her local car club which is and always has been Solway Car Club.

She was elected to the car club committee and since then has proved a valuable and committed member who is always willing to help with and participate in all aspects of the running of the club. Barbara is also a keen competitor with her undoubted skill still evident in the way she tackles both the clubs tar and grass autotest events. 

Not just content with her own interests in competition she has also been instrumental in helping youngsters interested in motorsport giving valuable tuition at Solway Car Club to junior members, most recent training day at Kirkcudbright Academy.  So as always Barbara's competitive instinct is still very much in evidence whether competing herself or helping others to do so.
