CONOR FLYNN - Rally Driver

Conor had a 5 hr tuition from his sponsor Barbara Armstrong, the test was at Sweet Lamb, which was very warm and sunny!!

They used C367CYN the original challenge car and celebrity car, using the bowl and the 1 mile loop, Conor was put thru a rigorous routine of correct car warm up procedure, pace note making and reading back at legal recce speeds [using my 406 diesel].

Intense lines tuition, with technical approaches to corners. A great day was had, with myself as an interested spectator along with 1471 sheep, no pressure on Conor as he completed over 30 competitive miles, Barbara said " I forget how old Conor is , because I just treat him like another good rally driver, who has to learn more technique, I am really pleased with his driving today!!"

Conor confessed "I had one moment today where we came close to a gate post, but otherwise it was spot on, Barbara is a fantastic coach, I have learned loads today, I must be the luckiest boy around".

I took a few pics, got a nice suntan and actually sussed my video camera properly too!!!
